Reflection
On any good day, if anyone asked, I would say that I always despised english class. This year, however, is different. I absolutely enjoyed doing the assignments (sometimes), like the seminar. Feedback was a key component in my ability to keep my marks up. The feedback that I had received on the Braveheart essay had assisted me throughout the semester, as I found that I had constantly been using the comments left for me to compare to my writing as I carried on through the semester. Positive feedback left me staying consistent in my style of writing, whereas comments regarding areas where I could change had me enhancing my writing. For example, there were a few changes to my writing that needed to be done after I viewed the comments on my Braveheart essay, I saw that there were a few issues with the thesis that I had generated, so when I went to write my Wuthering Heights essay I had allocated more of my time to writing a better thesis. As well, there were a few errors when it came to my analysis and relating it specifically to the quotes. I used this feedback to pay close attention to fixing this.
